I thought finding a dress was going to be the most difficult part of wedding preparations, but Molly at White of Raleigh made it the easiest! I’m so grateful for her help. I did not see a single cheap looking or tacky gown in the store, which is wonderful, of course, but also made it so hard to choose! After I made my final choice, I was worried because I didn’t have that ecstatic “say yes to the dress” moment. Molly made me feel 1000% better about it. She was incredibly patient and understanding. I have zero regrets!
Tori took my measurements several times to make sure they were exact and accurate, and both she and Molly talked me through my sizing options. They are both super competent and professional and so, so nice! I shopped at White of Raleigh early December of 2021, and it was an incredible experience! The boutique itself is stunning, and they provided a lot of comfortable seating for the three bridesmaids that were with me. I was nervous about dress shopping, just because clothes shopping is never fun for me, let alone thinking about prices. I worked with Lacey primarily (Molly jumped in later), and they worked with my budget. It was nice getting to pick different gowns, and they were very patient as I kind of knew what I wanted but was open to trying other styles on. They have a variety of different styles, which I appreciated, whether it was modern or more romantic. All their gowns were timeless rather than trendy. They helped me narrow down what I liked/disliked about certain gowns, and encouraged me to try on some of the other gowns until I had “the” moment. You could tell that they were excited for you and that they wanted you to enjoy the experience.
I was worried about ordering a wedding dress that would come in late due to the supply chain issues, which they addressed. They were honest that there was a possibility of there being a longer time for dresses to come in. They told me that if I ordered the dress right then (early december), it’d take 6-8 months for the dress to come in (the wedding was 10 months later, September). They were right on the mark, as it came middle of June! Needless to say, I did have my “moment” and found THE dress, and they celebrated with my friends and I with more champagne! I had such a great experience, and it will always be one of my most treasured memories!
